 Case study 1

I met "Thai" last year he is a male Shib-Inu who was referred to our centre for Hydrotherapy following a cruciate repair. Thai had the surgery to correct the ligament rupture but post surgery he was still limping some weeks afterwards. Therefore the owners were asked to try Hydrotherapy as it is a non weight bearing exercise to build muscles.

On Thai's first visit his owners warned me that they were nervous as Thai had a phobia to water and was not sure how he would cope with swimming! Thai was very vocal but after time he has made a great improvement in joint mobility and muscle strength. Thai visits occasionally for a swim as he is doing so well!

Thai completed 15 sessions of Hydrotherapy and Spa treatment. Thai has no water phobia's now and has made a near on full recovery!
